1st Year Living & Learning Cohorts Program

 


The TURBO BOOST Entrepreneurship Workshops’ main goal is to provide education and support for GW First Year students who are early stage entrepreneurs as LLC members through a series of workshops. The workshops will assist students interested in developing a business proposition for their LLC and improve on their entrepreneurial skills. They will also help develop robust business models and attractive business plans for professional investors and/or budget holders within a larger organization.   By the end of the workshops, each participant will be equipped with new knowledge and skills to help them with their entrepreneurial venture.

General LLC Membership Seminars:

  • Turbo Boost session on how to apply entrepreneurship strategies to your LLC and beyond!
  • Dates
    • Saturday, November 11th: 10am-1pm and 2-5pm
    • Sunday, November 12th: 2-5pm
  • LLCs that have at least 80% of the membership in attendance will receive additional funding for their LLC:
    • $50 for LLCs < 30 members
    • $75 for LLCs with 30-49 members
    • $100 for LLCs with 50+ members

President and Advisor Seminar:

  • In depth training on how to create, implement, and evaluate your LLC’s final feasibility plan
  • Saturday, November 18th: 10am-4pm

Final LLC Feasibility Plans due on Monday, December 3rd

The top 5 feasibility plans, as judged by CFEE faculty, will receive $100.00 in additional funds
